The Berkeley Audio Design Alpha DAC produces a level of audio fidelity “closer to the microphone feed” than even first generation open-reel analog master tapes. The Alpha DAC operates at sampling rates up to 192kHz and up-samples 44.1kHz CD’s to almost 176.4kHz quality using proprietary interpolation technology.
